work I’m proud of
If you’ve customized a drink in the Starbucks app in the last ~5 years, you’ve interacted with the components I designed while I was a part of the Digital Products team. I got to focus in on the UI for this project and I’m most proud of the drink size selection interaction.
In the Creative Studio @ Starbucks, I worked on everything from art directing lifestyle and studio photo shoots to designing email campaigns. I did a bit of animation and gift card design too.
At Instructure, I’ve been focused on the assessment experience inside of Canvas. Everything from customer journey maps of the entire flow to conceptual prototypes for strategic partnerships. I art directed illustrations for a gameboard design and I regularly organize groups of designers for workshops in figjam.
At Artifact Uprising, I enjoyed curating the photos that lived in our sample products, art directing, casting, and styling photoshoots for marketing campaigns. I coded and QA’d all the emails and web assets I designed. There’s a line of birth announcement photo cards I designed that are still live for purchase and customization.
At Julep, I styled bottles of polish in familiar but unrealistic places that complimented the copywriting. I played with prop styling and gif animation for visual interest.
I was the visual designer for a web experience that asked customers to provide feedback on products as they were being developed. I created a repeatable visual system by styling product swatches into compositions that communicated the category of product being voted on.

The jobs I’ve had
-
My current corporate dream is to implement a better assessment taking experience for students. I’m up against shifting leadership, strategy, and AI workflows. I lead an accessibility program for a design org of ~30. I lead workshops for my immediate team of ~5 to build shared language, trust, judgment and taste around the topic of AI.
-
Applying for this job was the first step in a series of big changes I made in my life after 2020. I was the first designer to bridge the gap between visual and UX disciplines. I led cross-functional design discovery workshops and served as the design lead for two product/engineering squads. I was a part of a 15% workforce reduction.
-
I started in the creative studio with an intention to move toward product design. During a Starbucks Rewards rebrand I collaborated across the company with the product design org and joined their team when there was an open role.
I led UI enhancements and UX overhauls with a focus on accessibility and brand cohesion. I worked on a major redesign of the global navigation of Starbucks.com and the customize your drink flow in the Starbucks app. I loved collaborating with user experience research. -
I moved to Denver to work for a startup that aligned more closely with my interests. I collaborated with a small team to concept, design, and launch physical products alongside digital experiences. I championed diverse representation in product photography and authored the company’s first creative brief.

I had fun at my first “big girl” job (circa 2015). I developed cross-functional collaboration skills by working with marketing, creative, merchandising, and engineering teams to concept, plan, and execute product and brand campaigns for an e-commerce company. I led photoshoot concepting and styling, then crafted emails and social content using the assets.
